CONCEPTO

TRATAMIENTO

EPISTAXIS: hemorragia o sangrado nasal.

SEGÚN ORIGEN
- Epistaxis anterior: origen en los dos tercios anteriores de las fosas nasales.
- Epistaxis posterior: origen en el tercio posterior de las fosas nasales.
SEGÚN CAUSA:
- Primarias: irritación por agentes físicos, traumatismos externos, rascado, cuerpos extraños, tumores…
- Secundarias: HTA, alt. coagulación, ACO, infecciones, Rendu-Osler…

Control de TA y coagulación.

Taponamiento anterior con gasa orillada o merocel.
